Truly Plug and Play
All you need to get started is an electrical outlet. The small transmitter is portable and small enough to keep just about anywhere. Simply plug it in, adjust the boundary to your desired size (up to 3/4 of an acre can be covered), and spend a few minutes a day training your pet. That's all it takes to get the system up and running.
Sleek, Waterproof Collars Fit Nearly Any Dog
The waterproof collars that are included with the PetSafe Stay + Play Fence are incredibly small. Best of all, no more worrying about buying or changing batteries - the collars are rechargeable! You'll also know when it's time to recharge the collar, with the built in low battery indicator on the collar.
The Stay + Play collars will fit dogs as little as 5 pounds, and are adjustable from 6" to 23", so even larger dogs will be able to comfortably wear one. The collar and receiver are waterproof and the receiver contains a rechargeable battery.
The collars offer 5 levels of adjustable static (shock) correction and also have a tone-only mode, useful for training or for dogs that have already learned to stay in the yard.
Safety features include a 15 second time out. The collar will automatically stop correcting your dog after 30 seconds. This prevents your dog from being over corrected.
Collars Compatible With Original PetSafe Wireless Containment System
The Stay + Play Wireless Collars are fully compatible with the original PetSafe Wireless Containment System (PIF-300).
Multi-Pet System (including cats)
The system can be used for an unlimited number of pets. Simply purchase additional Stay + Play Collar Receivers. And, yes, the system can be used for cats, too, as long as the collar comfortably fits.
Coverage Area
The maximum coverage area is 210 foot in diameter (105' radius), which covers approximately 3/4 of an acre. The minimum size the coverage area can be set to is 34 feet in diameter (17' radius).
Additional transmitters may be used to extend the boundaries.
