How does the PBC-102 Collar Work?
The bark collar senses the vibrations in your dog's throat that happen only during barking. While not at all harmful, the PetSafe Standard Bark Control Collar is an effective way to eliminate nuisance or excessive barking.

When your dog barks, this bark control collar gives a warning beep and mild correction. Then if he continues to bark, he will receive the warning tone with a slightly stronger correction.

This process will continue up through six levels of correction. The progressive correction helps to quickly teach your dog not to bark and ensures he receives only the amount of correction needed, creating peace and quiet for you without over correcting your dog.

Automatic safety shut-off ensures your dog will never be over corrected. The collar will shut off if your dog continues to bark more than 15 times in a 50 second period. The bark collar will then reset after 3 minutes.
