Many bark collars use only a microphone to detect the sound of your dog's bark. This can result in the collar being activated by another dog's bark or other noises. Some bark collars work by using a vibration sensor to detect the vibration of your dog's vocal chords when he barks. Unfortunately, a collar that works only on vibration can be set off by your dog's motion.

The PetSafe Deluxe Bark Control Collar operates using both a microphone to detect sound and a vibration sensor. The bark collar will only be set off when both sound and vibration are both present. Only Perfect Bark Technology™ ensures fool-proof bark detection.

In addition to the patented Perfect Bark Technology, the PetSafe PDBC-300 bark collar is also the smallest electronic no bark collar available. It weighs a mere 1.7 ounces. The receiver size is 2" x 1.25" x 1". The receiver is water-resistant and has a low battery level indicator.

The PetSafe PDBC-300 bark collar can be programmed to low, medium or high mode. Each setting has 6 correction levels, for a total of 18 levels. The bark collar also features progressive correction, if you choose. Progressive Correction automatically increases the static correction to the next strongest level, should your dog continue to bark.
